Goals
Advocate for fair and appropriate access to health care and related services, particularly

Evaluate the health of the people of Buncombe County.
Identify and coordinate strategies to improve community health, including health
education, disease prevention and medical intervention.
Support efforts to improve access to essential health care providers, with access to
effective and cost efficient services for all the people of Buncombe County. Learn More >>
Facilitate better planning and coordination of health care and related services.
Promote personal and civic responsibility for individual and community health.
Serve as a public forum through which health and health care issues may be discussed
by an individual or organization.
Advocate for public policy that supports HealthPartners’ vision and mission.
